• The most effective flyscreens are made from aluminium with either fibreglass or stainless-steel mesh. Their main goal is to keep flies and other insects out while maintaining natural air flow and light.
• Though reasonably durable and cheap, fibreglass mesh flyscreens are not really going to do the job if you’re looking to really beef up your home security.
• Security mesh is made from high tensile 316 marine grade stainless steel, woven into a fine mesh. It’s extremely strong and acts as a security barrier as well as a barrier to insects.
• They can also be fitted with a triple-locking mechanism for added protection. For peace of mind, we recommend you look at installing doors and windows with security mesh.

2. Alan will come to your home to measure up at a time that suits you.
3. In most cases, Alan will write up the quote and give it to you during the appointment.
4. If you’re happy with the quote, just give us the go ahead, and we’ll get started.
5. Unless we let you know otherwise, your job should be completed within 7 to 10 business days from the day you give us the green light.
6. We’ll call you when the job is ready to install to confirm a mutually convenient date and time.

• Statutory warranties apply to all Australian contracts. Under the Home Building Act, builders and tradespeople are required to give certain warranties or assurances about their work.
• Most builders and tradespeople have always provided these assurances, but this law ensures these assurances are written into the contract. All the warranties must be included in the written contract.
• These warranties do not in any way reduce or limit the builder’s or tradesperson’s obligations in relation to work standards, materials, completion, or other matters stated in the contract.
• None of the warranties can be written out of the contract.

As our quote does not include these warranties in writing, please read this in conjunction with the quote. We warrant that: –

1. The work will be performed in a proper and skillful manner in accordance with the plans and specifications.
2. All materials supplied by Protector Security NSW Pty Limited will be good and suitable, and unless otherwise stated, new.
3. The work will comply with the Home Building Act, and other laws.
4. The work will be done with due diligence and within the time set out in the contract.
5. The work and any materials used in doing the work will be reasonably fit for the specified purpose or result.

Any legal action for a breach of the statutory warranties must be taken within seven years after: –

   A. The completion of the work, or
   B. If the work is not completed, then,

      i.  The date for completion specified or determined in the contract, or
      ii.   If there is no such date, the date of the contract.

We like to keep work local, so all manufacturing takes place at our factory in Erina. This gives you the added bonus of a quicker turnaround time on your order.

We strive to complete your job within 7 to 10 business days from the day you give us the go ahead. We’ll give you a call when the job is ready to install to confirm a mutually convenient date and time.

We accept all the usual credit and debit cards including American Express, Visa, and Mastercard. You might also find it convenient to pay via Direct Deposit (we’ll give you the bank account details on your invoice) or you can pay by Cheque (to be made payable to “Protector Security NSW Pty Limited”). Though it’s a bit old fashioned, we still gratefully accept cash payments.
